Inconsistent speech errors might indicate and underlying problem with phonological planning or motor planning or both. A detailed assessment including the Syllable Repetition Task and a careful examination of the type of errors made during within word repetition tasks can help to uncover the underlying difficulty in these cases. In this webinar the appropriate assessment procedures will be discussed with case studies. The different treatment procedures that should be used to target phonological or motor planning in children who are producing connected speech will be discussed
